[:en]International Conference on Global Resource Conservation (ICGRC) is an annual biology conference held by the Department of Biology, Faculty of MIPA, Universitas Brawijaya. But slightly different in 2020, after previously experiencing delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic, ICGRC 2020 is the first time held virtually.

 In the 11th year, the conference chaired by Mufidah Afiyanti, Ph.D., successfully attracted speakers and participants from seven countries, namely Japan, Germany, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Libya, and Indonesia. The conference, which was themed “Synergizing Knowledge for Post 2020 Global Biodiversity Framework”, was attended by six keynote speakers, namely Prof. Gereon Elbers (F.H. Aachen, University of Applied Science, Germany); Prof. Sun-Kee Hong (Mokpo National University, South Korea); Dr. Jarungwit Boonnorat (Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, Thailand); Prof. Ying-Tzy Jou (National Pingtung University Science and Technology, Taiwan); Prof. Jatna Supriatna (Chairman of Research Center for Climate Change, University of Indonesia, Indonesia) and Prof. Luchman Hakim (Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia). A total of 125 people attended the virtual conference. Furthermore, the proceedings obtained from participants will be published in the IOP indexed by Scopus.

[:id]International Conference On Global Resource Conservation (ICGRC) merupakan kegiatan konferensi biologi tahunan yang diselenggarakan oleh Jurusan Biologi, Fakultas MIPA, Universitas Brawijaya. Namun sedikit berbeda pada tahun 2020 ini, setelah sebelumnya mengalami penundaan akibat pandemi Covid-19, ICGRC 2020 ini pertama kalinya diselenggarakan secara virtual.

Di tahun ke 11, konferensi yang diketuai oleh Mufidah Afiyanti, Ph.D ini sukses menarik pembicara dan peserta dari tujuh negara, yakni Jepang, Jerman, Korea selatan, Taiwan, Thailand, Libya dan Indonesia. Konferensi yang mangangkat tema “Synergizing Knowledge for Post 2020 Global Biodiversity Framework” ini dihadiri oleh enam keynote speakers, yakni Prof Gereon Elbers (F.H.
